About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support segment-wide FP&A planning, reporting, and performance management for the Vernova Power Segment
  • Execute core FP&A planning and reporting cycles
  • Strengthen process discipline and improve reporting consistency across businesses
  • Establish scalable operating rhythms and clear standard work
  • Architect and deploy global FP&A standard work, standardized database structures, Workiva reporting, and supplemental templates
  • Drive the lean finance roadmap by identifying inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions
  • Support the end-to-end planning and reporting cadence for the Power segment
  • Synthesize complex data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making
  • Oversee the Power FP&A calendar, reporting, and communication
  • Ensure integrity of planning and closing cycles, mitigate risks, and align financial outcomes with business objectives
  • Lead operational simplification and automation efforts with DT
  • Provide strategic oversight for the Power digital ecosystem, including Database, Workiva, Power BI, and BAM/CALM
  • Ensure data integrity and synchronization for HQ and Power ITRs
  • Manage the “Yellow Page” directory for global governance and cross-functional connectivity
  • Lead digital and process transformation and secure stakeholder buy-in across global finance teams
  • Manage deployment lifecycles for new tools and maximize user adoption through change management
  • Accelerate integration of AI-enabled capabilities for financial productivity, predictive insight, and decision quality
  • Identify and scale high-value AI use cases within a controlled, responsible framework
  • Maintain controllership standards and ensure compliance with GE Vernova policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Foster critical thinking and creative problem-solving using complex data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance experience of increasing responsibility
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to partner/push an operating team
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Experience leading people preferred
  • Established project management skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
