About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead projects from order handover through planning, site execution, invoicing, and final closeout
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of small-to-medium-sized non-turnkey and equipment-only infrastructure projects
  • Guide technical resources and coordinate field service engineers and subcontractors
  • Apply technical knowledge of GIS, AIS, and GCB equipment to solve complex technical challenges
  • Manage project budgets, margins, sales forecasting, contracts, change orders, and claims
  • Propose solutions beyond standard parameters using internal resources
  • Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project success
  • Own the project portfolio and provide accurate financial and resource forecasts
  • Coordinate field teams to meet and exceed customer expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical project management; Field Service, Maintenance, or Commissioning preferred
  • In-depth understanding of Gas Insulated Solution (GIS), Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), and Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) equipment
  • Practical experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, Excel, and modern project planning tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or French required based on customer portfolio
  • Proven ability to communicate with customers, maintain project ownership, provide structured follow-up, and handle timely escalations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of work time within Belgium
  • PMP or IPMA certification preferred
  • Experience working with Belgian utility providers and industrial customers preferred
