About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure all work adheres to GE policies, engineering standards, and security requirements
  • Lead the end-to-end Vendoc process, including scope definition, collection, technical validation, and release within PLM systems
  • Coordinate global teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet expectations
  • Manage global headcounts and budgets to meet Order to Remittance requirements for Heavy Duty New Units
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, oversee third-party contractors, and manage contract fulfillment
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize integration across PLM, ERP, and tracking systems
  • Apply Lean methodologies, including Kaizen and Daily Management, to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Lead cross-functional programs and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Ensure schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met
  • Prepare and present technical data and status updates to leadership, with recommendations for scheduling and business strategy
  • Lead contracted Vendoc COE resources within the Gas Power Configuration Management organization
  • Set performance objectives and collaborate with Gas Power and external stakeholders, including customers and EPC partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • 3 years of experience in a Project Management or Document Management related domain
  • 3 years of experience in an Engineering, Project Management or Supply Chain discipline
  • Knowledge and use of PLM, ERP and scheduling systems such as Primavera P6
  • Strong Lean mindset and experience applying Lean tools
  • Solid understanding of power generation products, organizational structure, and internal processes
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
  • Flexibility to support regional and international travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
