About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support turbine controller and firmware upgrades for the fleet
  • Support parameter and configuration updates and resolve related PAC cases
  • Collaborate with tools and development teams to enable rapid deployment of turbine software
  • Provide feedback to controls development teams on operational issues
  • Research and troubleshoot GE Digital solutions, including configuration, user interface, network and communication connectivity and performance, cloud and on-premise interoperability, data collection and storage, visualization, analytics, machine monitoring software, control systems, hardware infrastructure, and enterprise-system interfaces such as ERP, PLM, and Quality
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and execute policy and strategy
  • Use technical skills, analytical thinking, prior experience, and internal resources to solve problems and make decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical/IT-related field
  • 3–5 years of experience with Wind Controls or Wind Services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Troubleshooting experience and attention to detail
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute programs
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
