About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver GE Vernova’s Asset Performance Management (APM) and Device Management (DvM) software and services for Transmission & Distribution projects
Oversee technical project deliveries and interface between GE Vernova’s operations central team in Paris/Dubai and customers
Lead software services delivery within required timelines, quality, and budget while maintaining customer relationships
Manage all software deliveries from GE Vernova to customers and channel partners
Act as GE Vernova’s customer-facing technical voice for software solutions
Coordinate GE Vernova teams, channel partners, and customers to deliver project scopes
Oversee on-time delivery, implementation, quality, review, and approval of design notes and statements of work
Ensure review and approval of software, cloud, hardware delivery, architecture, and implementations
Oversee modeling of assets and grid substations and development of software interfaces
Own and coordinate technical execution, project organization, planning, and resource definition for APM projects
Support and perform technical tasks with software engineers, integrators, and subject matter experts
Support tendering and demonstrate APM solutions to customers when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge
5 years of experience in Software delivery management and/or as a Delivery Engineer/Manager in Software or asset management projects
7 to 10 years of experience in project delivery with an OEM, Utilities, or Industrials organization
3+ years of experience in maintenance processes with a utilities, industry, or OEM company
Proven international experience fronting projects involving multiple customers
Knowledge of Linux/Kubernetes setups
Knowledge of cloud concepts and high-level data-center concepts
Excellent knowledge of software deployment, configuration, integration, and database interfaces, including SQL and/or other databases, web services, ETL, and timeseries databases
Knowledge of JSON, XML, CSV, and YAML data exchange formats
Knowledge of IoT protocols and web services, including OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Kafka, REST API, gRPC, and SNMP/SFTP
Knowledge of electrical communication protocols, including IEC-101, IEC-104, DNP3, IEC61850, and Modbus
Ability to work in multicultural/multilocation teams
Ability to work under a matrix organization
