About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver GE Vernova’s Asset Performance Management (APM) and Device Management (DvM) software and services for Transmission & Distribution across multiple projects
Oversee technical project deliveries and interface between GE Vernova’s operations central team in Paris/Dubai and customers
Lead software services delivery on time, within quality standards and budget while maintaining customer relationships
Manage software deliveries from GE Vernova to customers and channel partners
Act as GE Vernova’s voice and interface with customers for software solutions
Coordinate GE Vernova teams, channel partners and customers to deliver required scopes
Oversee timely delivery, implementation and quality of design notes and statements of work
Review and approve software, Cloud and Hardware delivery, architecture and implementations
Oversee modeling of assets and grid substations and developed software interfaces
Own and coordinate technical execution, project organization, planning and resource definition for APM projects
Support and perform technical tasks with software engineers, integrators and subject matter experts
Support tendering and customer demonstrations of APM when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge
5 years experiences in Software delivery management and/or a Delivery Engineer/Manager in Software or asset management projects
7 to 10 years experiences in project delivery with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Utilities or Industrials
3+ years experiences in maintenance process with utilities, industry, or OEM company
Proven experience with international experience of project fronting multiple customers
Knowledge of Linux/Kubernetes setups
Knowledge of Cloud concepts and high-level data-center concepts
Excellent Knowledge of Software Deployment, configuration, integration and database interfaces (SQL and/or other), Webservices, ETL, timeseries databases
Good Knowledge of data exchange formats: JSON, XML, CSV, YAML
Concepts of IoT protocols and webservices: OPC UA/DA, MQTT, Kafka, REST API, gRPC, SNMP, SFTP
Knowledge of electrical communication protocols: IEC-101, IEC-104, DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus
Able to work in multi-cultural/multi-location teams
Able to work under matrixial organization
Communication skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States
