About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, coordinate, and perform on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of Steam Turbine systems
Diagnose and repair equipment
Provide technical guidance to customers and ensure successful aftermarket upgrades
Oversee third-party critical tasks
Perform installation walk-downs and ensure contractor compliance
Enforce GE safety standards and drive customer satisfaction through high-quality work and technical sign-offs
Maintain timely technical reports, job status updates, expense reports, and material logistics documentation
Coach and mentor team members on product and field engineering knowledge
Support project requirements through extensive travel, overtime, and weekend/holiday work
Support core values and vision through proactive task management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical/University degree or qualifying experience OR a High School Diploma / GED with experience in a Field Services role or equivalent qualifications
Experience in a field services or power generation equipment maintenance position
SEP certificate for group 2 - operations
Solid understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Controlling Parameters
Strong technical competence in steam turbine and auxiliary services operations, including alignment, balancing, and assessment
Valid driver’s license
English proficiency required
Ability and willingness to travel in Poland and internationally (80%+)
Extensive travel, overtime, and weekend/holiday work as necessary
