About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as GE Vernova’s central point of contact for up to 20 data center development customers
- Develop and maintain understanding of industry needs, business objectives, and business strategies
- Own and facilitate customer relationships, advocating for both GE Vernova and the customer
- Provide and value executive sponsorship across both organizations
- Coordinate with sales, technical, project management, quality, and senior management teams
- Manage customer communications, quality and problem resolution, account plans and summaries, and executive meetings
- Understand the industry, market, competition, and GE Vernova business unit priorities and growth initiatives
- Develop account maps for each developer
- Represent the entire GE Vernova portfolio and support collaboration across business units for complex or multi-P&L solutions
- Collaborate with customer quality and business-unit quality teams to identify pain points and drive transparent resolution
- Focus on customer satisfaction across processes and interactions
- Use operational data and metrics to monitor customer relationship health, alignment, growth, and profitability
- Collaborate with Enterprise Strategic Account Executives on overlapping infrastructure projects
- Promote and sell solutions, define business models, and ensure a unified GE Vernova customer experience
- Travel as required, up to 30%-75% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 10 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management or other EPC/end user customer or supplier-facing role
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy, power generation, and/or renewables industry
- Strong financial management skills
- Knowledge of market economics and competitive landscape
- Deep knowledge of the energy market, including energy production, transmission, storage, and consumption
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining GEV cross-business relationships at multiple levels
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining effective C-suite customer relationships
- Strong interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills
- Team leadership experience
- Proven ability to develop and implement a business strategy or blueprint
- Ability to speak and interact in the local language of the customer
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%-75% of the time
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Advanced degree or MBA desired
- Located in North America near a hub airport or willing to relocate desired
- Experience leading account teams for key customers with broad product portfolios desired
