About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own market assessment and sizing for North America, including TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses
  • Define and maintain market segmentation, buyer personas, and target account lists
  • Collaborate with Global Product Line by providing North American market intelligence, regulatory trends, and competitive findings
  • Support 3–5 year Long Term Strategy planning with regional market insights
  • Create regional commercial strategy, positioning, value propositions, go-to-market approaches, and the sales playbook
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end solution architecture covering hardware, software, licensing, integration, deployment, and total cost of ownership
  • Coordinate with Marketing on thought leadership and lead flow
  • Speak at customer events and conduct product demonstrations
  • Own prospecting and qualify new opportunities, handing them to Sales when a commercial approach is defined
  • Support qualified opportunities through proposals by providing market, competitive, and solution architecture context
  • Attend key customer moments without owning sales execution or account management
  • Champion the solution internally across the Growth Team, Sales, and business lines
  • Train Sales on positioning and solution architecture at launch and after material updates
  • Capture and share market insights and customer learning
  • Drive commercial pipeline growth, customer pilots and proof-of-concept placements, profitable solution growth, and gross margin by segment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Power Engineering or another technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Utilities and/or Large Industrial customers on Automation & Control, Reliability, Telecom Infrastructure, or Power & Asset Management topics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial role (sales, account management, business development, or strategy)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, market strategy, or commercial analysis
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive market opportunities and growth initiatives end-to-end
  • Ability to lead via influence across Marketing, Sales, Product, Commercial Operations, and Engineering
  • Proactive self-starter able to drive execution with clear ownership and discipline
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative market data and qualitative customer input into cohesive market strategy
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; comfort building market models, segmentation frameworks, and go-to-market strategies
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Comfort presenting to customer audiences and conducting product demonstrations without being a technical SME
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
