About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the hands-on technical owner for the MDM program
  • Influence and drive alignment across business, Digital Technology, procurement, and domain teams
  • Mentor engineers and data stewards
  • Provide technical options, trade-offs, and feasibility input to the governance council and data owners
  • Lead technical build-vs-buy evaluations and vendor/proof-of-concept assessments
  • Own the MDM reference architecture and its multi-year evolution from Registry to Consolidation to Coexistence to Centralized
  • Sequence the roadmap for incremental value and integrate MDM with downstream systems
  • Prioritize Legal Entity, Customer, Supplier, and Operations domains and capabilities
  • Define canonical/logical data models, golden-record survivorship strategy, and cross-domain resolution
  • Shape AI augmentation of mastering with explainability, human-in-the-loop review, and auditability guardrails
  • Set non-functional requirements for scale, performance, availability, security, lineage, and data privacy
  • Lead steward tooling, technical documentation, training, and enablement
  • Develop prototypes and demos to win stakeholder buy-in
  • Push data-quality validation into onboarding systems
  • Build prescriptive remediation and automate survivorship, remediation routing, and orchestration
  • Adopt scalable architecture, match-and-merge engines, pipelines, and AI agent integrations
  • Engage Customer, Supplier, and Legal Entity stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure consistent golden-record use
  • Integrate the command center with Customer and Supplier onboarding systems
  • Deliver trusted Customer 360 and Supplier records for CRM/sales, procurement, service, and compliance
  • Design and build the data-quality engine, profiling, rule authoring and execution, scoring, and dashboarding
  • Establish data-quality baselines, targets, and owners across six dimensions
  • Track duplicate rate, match/merge accuracy, onboarding cycle time, golden-record coverage, and issue-resolution time
  • Surface insights and quantify business outcomes
  • Convert cleanup logic into a versioned, measurable data-quality rules library
  • Provide regular technical leadership updates to senior stakeholders
  • Translate governance policies into enforceable technical standards
  • Stand up and configure the business glossary/data catalog and stewardship workflow foundation
  • Supply governance councils and decision gates with evidence, options, and reporting
  • Ensure lineage, auditability, and compliance are built into the platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Data, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 8 Years+ Experience in enablement Data capabilities for business outcomes and use of digital workplace collaboration tools
  • Significant hands-on experience in data management, preferably with an enterprise MDM platform
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple MDM styles (Registry, Consolidation, Coexistence, and/or Centralized) and transitions between them
  • Strong hands-on data modeling
  • Match/merge and survivorship design experience
  • Reference-data and hierarchy management experience
  • Cross-reference (XREF) experience
  • Experience with APIs, event/streaming, and ETL/ELT across real-time and batch patterns
  • Strong SQL
  • Data profiling, rule design and execution, scoring, and remediation experience
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML applied to entity resolution and data quality
  • Track record delivering in large, matrixed enterprises
  • Ability to provide leadership updates and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Lean / Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Hands-on production experience with AI-centric matching, stewardship, or data-quality capabilities
  • Domain experience in Customer, Supplier, and/or Legal Entity mastering
  • Vendor-evaluation or procurement experience
  • Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
  • Certifications such as DAMA CDMP or relevant cloud/architecture credentials
  • Experience mastering Operations Data Domains
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
