About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion Artificial Intelligence and Data Science adoption across the organization
  • Generate enthusiasm for new AI and Data Science capabilities
  • Architect and implement AI-driven strategies targeting the $800M EBITDA growth goal by 2028
  • Lead the Engineer 2030 transformation to double engineering productivity from $2M to $4M per engineer per year
  • Lead a high-performing team developing and implementing AI-enabled capabilities across the nuclear enterprise
  • Collaborate with the Digital Engineering senior manager and team on regulatory compliance and alignment with the Engineering Digital Tools Strategy and roadmap
  • Challenge the status quo and identify waste using Lean and AI thinking
  • Drive integration of tools and data across the business
  • Partner with Digital Technology and Advanced Research to evolve the ML/AI strategy
  • Ensure initiatives improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Create standard work meeting nuclear business regulatory and security requirements
  • Apply Plan, Do, Check, Act thinking to improve standard work and drive continuous improvement
  • Own technical requirements and key performance indicators for AI initiatives
  • Enable timely problem solving, delivery of agreed outcomes, and measurable business impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or related field, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of experience in a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, including their interaction with engineering physics and optimization
  • Strong business and financial analysis skills linking technical milestones to EBITDA and P&L impact
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with executive presence and influence
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile practices
  • Experience with Lean, Agile, and continuous improvement practices
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and talent development
  • Strong team-building and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to drive alignment across engineering, product, digital, and research partners
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and drive early adoption of new capabilities
  • Relevant examples demonstrating GE Vernova Way principles
  • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
