About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform operations and maintenance services at customer sites/properties
Prepare energy consumption reports, shift schedules, and MIS
Monitor monthly SLA performance
Maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products
Perform preventive and remedial maintenance
Manage maintenance facilities and field service engineering activities
Maintain MV and LV switchgear, transformers, battery banks, VCB/ACB control systems, PCC/MCC panels, relays, APFC/TSC/RTPFC systems, and earthing systems
Troubleshoot electrical systems and maintenance issues
Execute standard operational and technical tasks according to instructions and work routines
Rearrange task sequences as needed based on changing work situations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Should be a BE/Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 8-10 years of experience in O&M of switchyard, plants & machineries
Experience in maintenance of MV switch gear, including ABB VD4 and HPA24, Siemens 3AH3 series, and Areva
Experience with LV switch gear from Siemens, ABB, and L&T
Knowledge of numerical relays, including ABB REC 610/615, SPAJ 140C, Areva, and Siemens 7SJ relays
Experience maintaining dry and oil type transformers up to 8 MVA
Knowledge of battery bank capacity testing and maintenance
Knowledge of VCB/ACB control systems and functioning
Experience maintaining PCC and MCC panels
Knowledge of relay coordination
Knowledge of APFC/TSC/RTPFC maintenance and troubleshooting
Knowledge of earthing systems, maintenance, and rectification
Good knowledge of digitalization grid and electrical systems
Basic knowledge of HVDC and FACTS preferred if possible
Good managing skills to handle the team and customer
Well English communication with good mail communication
Good knowledge of MS software, PPT, Word, and Excel
