About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape and execute integrated communications strategies for the Power Transmission business line.
  • Lead internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, change management, and executive communications.
  • Advise business line senior leadership on messaging, positioning, audience engagement, and communications approach.
  • Partner with site and functional leaders to turn complex priorities into clear messages for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support senior leaders with messaging and communications materials for external speaking engagements, internal forums, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Develop and oversee leadership briefings, speeches, talking points, case studies, articles, social media content, videos, podcasts, and infographics.
  • Develop and execute internal communications plans covering PT strategy, organization, priorities, and company culture in collaboration with HR.
  • Support communications around employee engagement, culture, recognition, inclusion, and community initiatives across worldwide sites.
  • Develop integrated external communications strategies aligned with PT business objectives and growth priorities in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Drive global social media visibility through product and technology storytelling and amplification of PT marketing campaigns.
  • Build partnerships across manufacturing and R&D units, functional teams, and regional/global communications stakeholders.
  • Develop and track qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess communications effectiveness and impact.
  • Explore new channels, formats, and creative approaches to improve engagement and effectiveness.
  • Report to the PT Business Line Leader and functionally to the Electrification Communications Leader.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant communications experience, including internal and external communications.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in a multicultural environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing communications across multiple manufacturing sites or at a regional level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in an additional local or regional language is an advantage.
  • Experience in or understanding of the energy or industrial sector is preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and sound communications judgment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across cultures, functions, and geographies.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to identify fresh opportunities, channels, and ideas.
