About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide analytical leadership across the SaaS portfolio, professional services, and FinOps functions
  • Establish KPIs, analytics, benchmarks, and financial insights to measure product health, services performance, engineering investment, cost-to-serve, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain analytics frameworks for Cloud SaaS products and implementation/services businesses
  • Establish standardized KPIs, dashboards, benchmarks, and leadership reporting
  • Analyze ARR, revenue growth, software gross margin, customer adoption, retention, expansion, usage, bookings, ASP, discounting, and customer/product profitability
  • Evaluate engineering resources and technology investments against revenue growth, product maturity, customer demand, and product health
  • Establish KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, data sources, and ownership across functions
  • Develop internal and external performance benchmarks across products, regions, industries, customer segments, implementation models, and product lines
  • Measure implementation revenue, backlog, project duration, time-to-value, utilization, staffing, project margin, forecast accuracy, milestone performance, scope changes, rework, customer readiness, and on-time delivery
  • Analyze implementation economics and cost-to-serve with Services, Finance, and Product leadership
  • Identify drivers of project margin erosion, resource inefficiency, scope creep, delivery complexity, and recurring implementation costs
  • Lead FinOps and SaaS cost management by aligning cloud infrastructure and operational costs to SaaS products and offerings
  • Develop and report cloud cost optimization and performance metrics
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Cloud Operations to drive cost reductions and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Approximately 3-5 years of similar experience, ideally in SaaS or FinOps environments
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with data visualization; Power BI preferred
  • Must be able to build own dashboards
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Valid work authorization for the United States required
  • No visa sponsorship offered
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience developing and managing business performance metrics, dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and business economics, including revenue, costs, margins, profitability, forecasting, and investment performance
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Strong experience with SaaS, financial, and operational analytics
  • Advanced data analysis and business intelligence capabilities, including SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Excel, or similar analytics platforms
  • Experience with SaaS financial modeling and unit economics
  • Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and SaaS cost management, including AWS/cloud infrastructure costs, usage, utilization, unit costs, cost allocation, and cloud optimization
