About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute procurement activities according to the project procurement execution plan and supplier lead-time requirements
Communicate status regularly to project and leadership teams
Manage supplier records and collect required supplier documentation
Issue purchase orders, collect acknowledgements, issue change orders, and lead invoice resolution
Monitor supplier progress, expedite suppliers, and escalate issues to Project Sourcing Leads
Manage RFQs and negotiate products and services to achieve cost-out goals
Maintain a quote library of all RFQs received
Support contractual agreement negotiations and upload executed contracts to the Oracle Contracts Database
Escalate supplier quality challenges and ensure recovery of quality-related costs
Maintain accurate procurement data, delivery forecasts, and supplier commitments in project reporting tools
Accelerate procurement processes while ensuring compliance
Drive supplier on-time delivery and proactively escalate risks
Contribute to procurement process standardization and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college
Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement
Minimum 7 years working in SAP purchasing systems
Ability and willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally (USA)
Must comply with all relevant travel and tax policies
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
