Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the delivery of assigned small-to-medium sized Hydro projects, including equipment-only, product suites, or turnkey projects.
Manage project resources to ensure performance against schedule, budget, and scope.
Manage relationships with external customers and consortium partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively manage customer expectations, resolve escalated issues, and influence consortium decision-making.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all project activities, including consortium-partner work.
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend project best practices.
Use industry-trend knowledge to inform decision-making.
Lead project teams in developing creative solutions within complex technical and manufacturing environments.
Evaluate data quality, challenge conflicting information, and leverage resources to navigate project risks.
Present project solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
Communicate complex messages and negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Business Management from an accredited university.
More than 10 years of experience with a focus on Project Management and/or International Project Execution.
Solid experience in EPC (Engineering/Procurement/Construction), Energy, or the Manufacturing Industry.
Strong commercial, contract, and financial acumen.
Strong focus on safety and quality mindset and compliance.
Customer-centric and advocate mindset.
Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of database operations.
Ability to build strong local and regional relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
Fluent in English; a second language is highly appreciated (e.g., French, Spanish).
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (min. 20%).
Master's Degree and MBA are desired qualifications, not required.
Professional experience in Hydro or Power Generation is highly regarded.
Experience within matrix, cross-functional, and global team organizations.
Highly self-driven and self-motivated.
