About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage project engineering teams for detailed, site-specific design of BWRX300 small modular reactor projects
- Interface with internal and external customers to ensure organizational resource allocation
- Deliver scope of work to the original cost estimate
- Manage schedule, budget, and integration of BWRX300 projects
- Influence projects to meet customer CTQs and achieve tollgate milestones
- Manage a team of project engineers and project coordinators
- Influence strategy, control resources, and contribute to policy formulation
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices
- Stay informed of industry trends
- Make decisions and handle complex operational, manufacturing, technology, and engineering tasks
- Assess information quality and ask pertinent stakeholder questions
- Develop and provide recommendations and solutions outside set parameters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience in Engineering/Technology & Project Management
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university or college
- 8+ years of Project Engineering / Project Management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Previous knowledge of BWR operating nuclear plant in operations or engineering
- Ability to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
