Project Quality Leader

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and provide contract quality requirements to the project team
- Support function kickoff meetings and communicate project-specific requirements to stakeholders
- Consolidate lessons learned and define the quality assurance strategy and project risks
- Produce project quality plans and inspection and test plans
- Communicate and ensure application of quality plans by project team members
- Prepare and coordinate quality inspections with customers and supply chain
- Manage preparation and delivery of quality databooks for components
- Monitor project process performance, including non-quality costs, product non-conformities, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and process responses
- Manage non-conformity reports
- Support analysis and management of non-quality costs, claims, and corrective, preventive, curative, and containment actions
- Support site teams with quality documentation and ensure quality control meets client requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of quality management principles and tools
- Relevant experience in project management
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel occasionally within North America
- Experience in the hydropower industry (desired)
- Project Management Certification (desired)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multitasking in a multicultural and global environment
- Mindset of continuous improvement
