Ensure the reliability and scalability of web applications by building robust automated testing frameworks
Break down problems and estimate time for quality-related tasks
Apply testing types and methodologies effectively during the SDLC
Create and execute testing and use cases that meet standards and desired functionality
Write effective tests that verify crucial functional requirements and remain valid when code is refactored
Collaborate with Quality Leaders to create test plans
Contribute to quality metrics and follow established best practices and coding patterns
Design and implement strategies for managing complex test data across multiple environments
Execute and monitor automated test suites
Test features or small feature sets with direction from senior team members or management
Work independently while seeking help when necessary
Apply Lean/Agile, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
2 to 4 years of experience
Experience in test automation using Playwright, JavaScript, and Python
Exposure to performance testing using JMeter
Experience in API automation testing using Postman/Playwright or RestAssured alongside SOAP/REST
Strong manual testing capabilities for Functional, End to End, and Integration cases
Experience executing and monitoring automated test suites with Jenkins
Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Rally, or ADO
Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes for testing environments
Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative code reviews
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and their testing/deployment pipelines
Understanding of infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application
Ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
Ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision
Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders
