Test features or small feature sets with direction from senior team members or management
Break down problems and estimate time for quality-related tasks
Apply testing types and methodologies effectively during the SDLC
Take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision when appropriate
Apply SDLC principles and Lean/Agile, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing techniques
Create testing and use cases that meet standards and deliver desired functionality
Write effective tests that verify crucial functional requirements and remain valid during refactoring
Collaborate with Quality Leaders to create test plans
Contribute to quality metrics and follow established best practices and coding patterns
Design and implement strategies for managing complex test data across multiple environments
Experiment with new software frameworks and identify opportunities for innovation
Support team members and collaborate in an Agile environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
Education in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
2 to 4 years of experience
Experience in Test Automation using Playwright and writing code in JavaScript and Python
Exposure to Performance testing using JMeter
Experience in API Automation testing using Postman/Playwright or RestAssured alongside SOAP/REST
Strong Manual testing capabilities to derive Functional, End to End, Integration cases
Experience executing and monitoring automated test suites with Jenkins
Experience with project management tools like Trello/Rally/ADO
Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes for testing environments
Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative code reviews
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and their respective testing/deployment pipelines
Solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application
Ability to break down problems and estimate time for tasks
Ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders
