Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the single point of contact to customers for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns
Provide support services for assigned regions, products, or coverage areas
Maintain knowledge of assigned regions, coverage areas, product lines, and associated configuration installations
Represent the most direct access to appropriate internal functions supporting customers
Establish and maintain ongoing technical and business support for assigned customers
Influence strategy development, resource control, and policy formulation for the area of responsibility
Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Make decisions and handle complex operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering tasks
Assess information quality and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders
Develop solutions and recommendations for problems outside set parameters
Use internal and external sources to support decision-making
Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources, risk, and complexity
Communicate difficult concepts and influence viewpoints
Guide others toward alternative points of view

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, or a High School Diploma / GED with an additional 4 years of experience in power generation industry, or an Associate degree with 2 years of experience in a power generation industry
Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience within the power plant field services or contract performance management
Qualified candidate can be located within 1–2 states from the primary location in California or Houston, TX
Willingness and ability to travel less than 25% of the time
Legal authorization to work in Canada for Canadian-based positions
Legal authorization to work in the United States for this opening
Successful completion of a background investigation
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable, for U.S.-based positions
