About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze learning needs and design technical training solutions
- Contribute to design and development of Initial Certification/License Training Programs for BWR, ABWR, and BWRX-300 technologies using the Systematic Approach to Training
- Maintain Operations Training KSA analyses/catalogues, Job & Task Analysis, Task to Training Matrices, curricula, evaluation strategies, delivery schedules, training materials, and evaluation instruments
- Contribute to design and development of Continuing Training Programs for licensed and non-licensed operators
- Provide instructional quality oversight for licensed and non-licensed training curricula and materials
- Represent GEH training in internal, customer, and regulatory venues
- Support management and delivery of training programs with other operations training instructors and personnel
- Lead or support training program reviews, evaluate training effectiveness, establish priorities, and drive continuous improvement plans
- Develop and support corrective actions for identified improvement areas
- Work with training and business units to support Fleet Services enterprises
- Perform special assignments and related activities as assigned by the Training Manager/Leader
- Advise management and provide recommendations on complex training-related issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Quality Training
- Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within the discipline
- Knowledge of nuclear power plant technologies, including BWR and PWR
- Training program development and implementation experience under INPO and NRC regulatory frameworks
- Experience with Initial and Requalification Certification Examination development, conduct, and grading
- Experience delivering all phases of Operator Training, including GFES, Station Systems, and Simulator
- Experience with Computer Based Training (CBT) implementation and multimedia training content
- Experience using an LMS, training database, or Vision software
- Ability to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
