About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage delivery and cost of Equipment Projects through proactive risk and opportunity management
- Develop cross-functional mitigation action plans and coordinate mitigation efforts
- Attend Readiness Release, Advance Release, and Full Release Meetings
- Review handover documents and strategize cost and schedule risks with the PM and CM
- Assemble project teams at launch and establish launch schedules, risks, opportunities, and assumptions
- Support Cost & Schedule Core Team Commitment Meetings
- Lead the IPM Execution Strategy Meeting and establish cost and schedule operating rhythms
- Lead weekly IPM meetings to review risks, opportunities, and mitigation action plans
- Drive mitigation efforts, resolve complex issues, escalate when leadership support is needed, and communicate updates to the PM and CM
- Support daily management reviews with risk action plans and cost and schedule variance outputs
- Create change management processes and reporting for deviations and variances against budget and scope
- Assess and track customer change orders and their cost and schedule impacts
- Track Cost Out initiatives against savings targets and escalate critical issues
- Track Project Payment Milestone events and collect documentation for invoicing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of cross-functional business experience with operational and/or project management experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
- Ability to lead and succeed in a cross-functional matrix environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, resolve problems, and deliver results
- Thorough competency in Microsoft Office Tools
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt / Master Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
- PMP / PMU certification
