About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and execute all aspects of the LMS100 new unit production program
  • Develop the program plan and align the business
  • Manage the toll gate process, cost control and allocation, business case definition and refinement, engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing readiness
  • Collaborate with the LMS100 Product Line Leader to execute the platform vision and strategy
  • Maintain accountability for MGPP for the LMS100 platform
  • Own and maintain an updated Approval to Quote for the LMS100 portfolio
  • Drive strategic corrective actions across NPI, new unit production, shipping, installation, and commissioning
  • Lead portfolio decisions on standardization, customization, technology, and product configuration
  • Lead cross-functional teams maintaining product standards, configuration rules, technical documentation, and reference designs
  • Review customer specifications and identify technical, commercial, and contractual risks
  • Incorporate project and commissioning lessons learned into future product improvements
  • Collaborate with supply-chain and manufacturing teams to improve sourcing strategies, standardization, lead times, quality, and cost
  • Own the Aeroderivative Cost of Poor Quality target for assigned systemic product quality issues
  • Drive process improvements across NPI Value Streams
  • Drive NPI toll gate processes for business and fleet improvements in packaging and new unit production
  • Monitor installation and commissioning schedules and collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes
  • Partner with sales, technical sales, and business development teams to develop technical and commercial offerings
  • Implement long-term corrective action plans for product quality issues
  • Manage customer communications for product fleet issues
  • Report on workstreams, successes, and items needing assistance or guidance during product updates and reviews with senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Gas Turbine Technology or a similar industry
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a product line, engineering, services, or program/project management
  • Prior experience in or working with services operational and execution teams preferred
  • Effective team building and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of product line technology and processes advantageous
  • Ability to act as a strong change agent in a complex, diverse, and dynamic cross-functional global team
  • Outstanding technical, business, and financial analysis skills
  • Deep knowledge of the power generation marketplace
  • Demonstrated leadership, influence, and strategy abilities
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
