About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive strategic deployment of corrective actions across NPI, New Unit, I&C, and fleet implementation
  • Own the Cost of Poor Quality target for Aeroderivative systemic product quality issues
  • Develop, implement, and champion programs to reduce COPQ across enabling functions
  • Drive process improvements across NPI value streams
  • Drive NPI toll-gate processes for business and fleet improvements
  • Monitor I&C schedules and collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes
  • Implement long-term action plans to address product quality issues
  • Develop and lead repair and industrialization strategies
  • Drive customization, modification, and upgrade campaigns and develop new NPI upgrades
  • Partner with product line managers and product service engineering to launch RAM programs addressing fleet issues
  • Ensure services operations forecasts parts for critical service bulletins based on regional event outlooks
  • Analyze fleet event data, borescope inspection reports, and depot reports to identify product reliability and quality improvements
  • Feed fleet intelligence into outage forecasting
  • Manage customer communication for product fleet issues
  • Report quality workstreams during product value stream Monthly Operating Rhythms
  • Collaborate across engineering, supply chain, poles, services, and other horizontal functions in the Gas Power business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on Gas Turbine Technology or similar industry
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a product line, engineering, services, or program/project management
  • Prior experience in or working with services operational and execution teams preferred
  • Effective team building and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of product line technology and processes is a distinct advantage
  • Strong change-agent capability focused on efficient execution in a complex, diverse, and dynamic cross-functional global team
  • Outstanding technical, business, and financial analysis skills
  • Deep knowledge of the power generation marketplace
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership and influence, and strategy
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
