About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop L1/L2 ITO and project schedules for complex TKSI/TKP/EEP/EO projects
- Support ITO deal teams by managing discussions with partners on consortium and contract schedules
- Lead planning and scheduling processes, tools, and work instructions during ITO/tendering for global HDGT projects
- Develop schedules for turnkey self-implemented and partner projects, including EO/EEP projects
- Work with Commercial and relevant functions to optimize schedules and manage key risks
- Integrate Product Line inputs during ITO and coordinate with Project functions during execution
- Define payment milestones and prepare cash flows for partners’ scope
- Define schedule strategies and prepare mitigation action plans
- Lead scheduling discussions during Risk/Gate reviews
- Support ITO teams during clarification and negotiation with customers and EPCs
- Ensure handover of tender schedules to OTR regional/Pole teams
- Develop the integrated EPC project control schedule (MTS) in cooperation with scope owners
- Build and maintain ITO scheduling project templates and historical lead-time and lessons-learned registries
- Support project schedulers with MTS development
- Support NPI programs and develop optimized schedules with Product Leadership and Engineering
- Prepare and update scheduling processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in project management, site scheduling & project scheduling
- Relevant experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment using Planning/Scheduling tools and programs
- Prior experience with processes for Gas Combined Cycle projects
- Knowledge of power plant principles and work processes in an engineering, procurement, and construction environment
- Experience with MS Project, MS Office, and Oracle Primavera P6
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Experience with globally based project teams
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and responsibilities and adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly with available information
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- High say/do ratio
