About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary customer representative for complex aftermarket projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Own execution of Conversions, Modifications, and Upgrades (CM&Us) for industrial gas and steam turbine equipment
  • Drive project execution strategy and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and logistics
  • Meet project milestones, contract deliverables, financial margins, quality, and safety goals
  • Lead end-to-end customer relationships and resolve issues
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, margin analysis, and invoicing
  • Create and maintain project schedules from engineering through field execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and implement lean management strategies to reduce waste and improve execution efficiency
  • Capture lessons learned and apply best practices to future project cycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to lead turnkey, large-scale service projects within the power generation sector
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and international teams with a focus on collaborative problem-solving
  • Understanding of complex contract terms and commercial agreements
  • Experience with project-based financial management, including forecasting, margin analysis, and invoicing
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, such as PMP or equivalent professional training
  • Interest in applying lean tools and innovative engineering solutions
  • Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments
  • Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments
  • Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments
  • University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field is nice to have, not required
