About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a strategic leader for the BWRX-300 project
- Oversee execution of the GE Vernova Quality Assurance Program
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of quality professionals
- Provide technical vision and oversight for procurement activities
- Foster a high-engagement, customer-focused, and collaborative environment
- Provide targeted training on quality activities, best practices, and lessons learned
- Set quality objectives aligned with project milestones and regulatory standards
- Oversee the end-to-end supplier quality lifecycle, from qualification and procurement quality control to final surveillance
- Direct supplier engagement to define quality requirements, verify inspection processes, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications
- Implement and monitor supplier quality metrics and report KPIs to internal stakeholders and supplier leadership
- Lead analysis of complex quality issues, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and corrective actions (CAPA)
- Manage development and technical review of quality documents, project plans, and procedures
- Direct supplier quality surveillance, including on-site audits and inspections
- Perform up to 50% travel to support audits and inspections
- Govern disposition of supplier non-conforming products in accordance with nuclear standards
- Serve as the quality interface throughout the BWRX-300 lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a quality or nuclear-related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a strong culture of compliance, teamwork, and customer focus
- Deep understanding of 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and Canada CSA N286-12 standards
- Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (Section III, IX, and XI) and ISO-9001
- Strong background in Nuclear Industry technologies (e.g., SMRs)
- Experience in NDE processes and welding-related issue resolution
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and RCA methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
