Key responsibilities & impact

  • Drive business growth and manage strategic commercial relationships for Duke Energy and other strategic Power Transmission accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in direct sales, business development, field service, or commercial roles within the industrial/utility/generation/renewable markets
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the power transmission or utility industry
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20–50% of the time to customer sites and regional offices
  • Engineering degree, Electrical preferred, or equivalent technical background
  • Proven ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with C-suite executives, engineering leads, and operations managers
  • Track record of closing complex deals and negotiating successful, mutually beneficial outcomes in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in interpreting market data and financial metrics to build actionable sales pipeline strategies
  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills; capable of simplifying technical/complex topics for varied internal and external audiences
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
