Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver comprehensive, strategic recruitment support across the entire hiring process
Partner with designated client groups to manage a diverse portfolio of open positions
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates
Screen candidates for technical expertise, cultural fit and leadership potential
Provide strategic input on candidate selection
Mentor junior recruiters on advanced sourcing and screening techniques
Articulate compelling career opportunities based on candidate motivations
Ensure an inclusive, equitable recruitment process and positive candidate experience
Promote the GEV talent brand through social media and content sharing
Build GEV presence in targeted channels and develop candidate engagement strategies and pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
Use recruitment data and market insights to optimize strategies and advise stakeholders
Manage and advise on end-to-end recruitment processes for roles of varying complexity
Advise hiring managers and people leaders
Lead complex offer negotiations and advise on compensation benchmarks
Manage candidate and requisition lifecycles in the ATS with accuracy and timeliness
Apply Lean principles to optimize recruitment processes and track KPIs
Participate in projects and adopt best practices in daily operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience
5 years of experience in recruitment with expertise in sourcing, screening, managing complex offers and stakeholder advisory roles
2 years of extensive experience recruiting for Software Development, Design Engineering, electrical/mechanical engineering roles
Experience recruiting within Gas Power, Electric or Renewal Energy Companies
Experience with TA tools such as Workday or other ATS systems, Linkedin Recruiter, Talent Neuron, Tableau, AI bots (ie: ChatGPT)
Advanced knowledge of sourcing strategies, including passive candidate engagement
Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence hiring strategies
Experience working with senior leaders to shape recruitment strategies
Ability to negotiate effectively with candidates and hiring managers and lead complex offer discussions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience advising senior leadership
Experience in both Corporate and agency recruiting environments is preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States
