About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Service Director
- Build long-term customer relationships and drive optimized operations, fiscal management, and hub safety
- Lead the Maine 2 multi-site wind service hub team and manage daily hub operations
- Oversee turbine output, safety, quality control, and financial oversight
- Manage resources and logistics for customer-site service and maintenance activities
- Initiate and support staffing, coaching, training, corrective action, and succession planning for employees and contracted partners
- Own the hub safety culture, including contracted partners and customers
- Execute daily Plan of the Day calls and prioritize the dispatch schedule
- Serve as the customer point of contact and meet contractual requirements
- Partner with the Customer Performance Manager and escalate customer concerns
- Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR
- Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed commitments and return turbines to service
- Lead multi-site facility operations using LEAN problem-solving
- Visit each site weekly and drive safety focus
- Grow customer relationships and develop team engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience inclusive of leadership
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a field services or equivalent role in the energy industry
- Ability and willingness to travel within the hub, including possible overnights
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to enter a military site by passing a background check
- Advanced computer skills using word and spreadsheet processing, e-mail programs, facility control and management systems, and computer diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
- Wind turbine or energy industry experience
- Advanced electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic experience, including use of hydraulic power tools
- Experience with heavy equipment for facility maintenance and working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements
- Comprehensive writing skills for contractual reporting obligations
- Functional knowledge of Operations and Maintenance best industry practices, planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities, productivity improvements, operational excellence, and outage management
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, initiative, adaptability, and influencing skills
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels inside and outside the Wind Hub
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
