About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate daily on-site installation activities across multiple technology disciplines
  • Ensure equipment and systems comply with approved designs, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and project standards
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, specialist vendors, and technology suppliers
  • Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning across interdependent systems and disciplines
  • Manage material and equipment logistics, including delivery, storage, and movement
  • Coordinate technical interfaces across servers, networks, software platforms, electrical systems, telecommunications, monitoring systems, and cybersecurity infrastructure
  • Oversee site quality activities, inspections, punch lists, defect resolution, testing records, and handover documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, access control, permit, and energisation requirements
  • Monitor and report installation and commissioning progress and escalate risks, delays, shortages, and technical or interface issues
  • Support customer inspections, acceptance testing, final handover, and project closeout

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, IT, Telecommunications, or related Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of site-based experience in technology infrastructure installation, systems integration, or commissioning
  • Experience ideally within data centers, telecommunications, or digital infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary contractor teams in a live site environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer documentation
  • Experience with health, safety, and permit-to-work systems relevant to electrical and technology installations
  • Working experience of commissioning methodologies, including pre-commissioning, functional testing, and integrated testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong verbal and communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of planning tools is an advantage
  • Strong site leadership and coordination skills across multiple contractors and disciplines
  • Effective problem-solving and issue resolution under time and schedule pressure
  • Clear and proactive communication with technical teams, management, and customer representatives
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to documentation and progress tracking
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain composure in a dynamic site environment
