About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and be accountable for the Grid Automation Solutions & Services annual operating plan
  • Develop the GA CEAP Solutions & Services growth strategy and plan across Digital Substation, Conventional Control Systems, Installed Base upgrades, Industrial, Grid Modernization, Value-Added Services and AAA
  • Collaborate with GA Product Line leaders and the GA CEAP sales team
  • Act as point of contact with the global organization to secure NPI budget and required developments, and push or adapt existing value propositions
  • Drive homologations and prequalification activities
  • Drive growth in the focused area
  • Analyze the installed base and proactively set targets for the sales team to capture its potential
  • Engage with other regions and GE businesses to explore new offerings
  • Launch and run campaigns
  • Serve as the regional reference for the relevant Product Line to support Sales and Tendering teams
  • Support the sales team in pre-acquisition activities and tendering to build offers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Software, or Business discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Grid Automation, Smart Grid and Electric Utility related Software
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% as required, international and domestic
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them to solution architecture using different individual products and services in the Grid Automation portfolio
  • Knowledge of Grid Automation Products, Solutions and Services
  • Knowledge of CEAP market
  • Ability to work across different time zones, including monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours
