About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage Sourcing organization's internal operating mechanisms, including weekly Sourcing committee and Leadership staff meetings, biweekly supplier claims reviews, and quarterly All Hands
- Drive alignment on priorities, KPIs, and budgets across teams
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support key objectives
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance requirements
- Support Sourcing teams in navigating operational challenges and driving consistent ways of working
- Facilitate preparation of external communications, including Quarterly Supplier Business meetings and ad-hoc announcements and invitations
- Coordinate preparation of the Wind Supplier Conference
- Manage conference logistics, budget, and execution to strengthen supplier relationships and drive collaboration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma)
- At least 6 years of experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects or Finance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence team members
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Structured approach to solving complex tasks
- Permanent Work Permit for location
- Approximately 5 trips per year, including one 2-week trip to the US and three 1-week international trips
- Hybrid office participation required
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate budget for projects and budget planning across large teams
- Demonstrated ability or interest in sourcing process ownership and risk evaluation, with an emphasis on supplier due diligence
