About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sourcing projects related to supplier management, data analysis, process improvement, sustainability, and operational execution
  • Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, purchase order review, savings tracking, and sourcing performance reporting
  • Learn and apply sourcing tools, dashboards, and standard work to support informed business decisions
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Legal, and other business partners
  • Prepare presentations, trackers, summaries, and project updates for team meetings and leadership reviews
  • Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve data quality, and strengthen process discipline
  • Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, development activities, and networking opportunities
  • Demonstrate GE Vernova values and commitment to safety, integrity, inclusion, quality, and customer-focused execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior
  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in building business, sourcing, or supply chain experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the internship is based
  • Curiosity about the energy industry and GE Vernova’s mission
  • Interest in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, analytics, sustainability, operations, or project management
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to organize information, identify trends, solve analytics problems, and summarize insights
  • Self-starter eager to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of assigned work
  • Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, and structured problem-solving methods
  • Experience with AI tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information clearly and professionally
