About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as liaison between process owners and solution stakeholders and advocate for solutions
- Determine when, how, or whether solutions should be developed, upgraded, or retired
- Guide project teams and customers in planning sprints and delivery iterations
- Evaluate solutions within broader IT ecosystems and mitigate potential risks
- Understand business processes, define AS-IS processes, identify gaps, define TO-BE processes, and convert them into IT requirements and solutions
- Define process improvements and automation, data solutions, and innovation opportunities for GE Power Conversion
- Meet business and IT stakeholders to translate challenges into automation business cases
- Document AS-IS processes, business process models, automation areas, and ROI benefits
- Write business requirements and solution design documents
- Observe business processes at the workplace to identify automation opportunities
- Identify automation solutions using RPA, AI, or similar technologies
- Partner with business and application solution architects on automation solutions
- Manage the full solution lifecycle from problem definition and design through development, post-production support, and retirement
- Evaluate, upgrade, and improve the active solution portfolio
- Identify automation opportunities with ITO, Project Management, Services processes, and IT owners
- Maintain product specifications, solution configuration guides, and operations guides
- Manage vendor relationships, effort estimations, proposal evaluations, and third-party delivery
- Manage development and testing, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 8 years related experience in IT Industry as Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or equivalent role
- Experience providing solutions for cross functional IT Systems, with significant experience in Business Applications and/or ERP solutions
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in at least one of the business domains ITO, Project Management or Services
- At least 3-4 years experience leading automations using tools like UiPath, n8n, Blue Prism, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere
- Quick learner of functional processes and how they influence IT applications and solutions, with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes
- Focus on big picture and root cause while driving discussions, solution design, and tools required to solve problems
- Technical experience with ERP modules, RPA, chatbot automation, and/or BI/data analytics
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Experience evaluating tools and software
- Experience in AI/GenAI and agents is an added advantage
- Experience working in remote/global teams
