About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as liaison between process owners and solution stakeholders and advocate for solutions where required
- Determine when, how, or whether solutions need to be developed, upgraded, or retired
- Guide project teams and customers in planning sprints and delivery iterations
- Evaluate solutions within broader IT ecosystem contexts and drive change to mitigate risks
- Understand business processes, define AS-IS processes, identify gaps, define TO-BE processes, and convert them into IT requirements and solutions
- Meet business and IT stakeholders to translate business challenges into automation business cases
- Document AS-IS processes, business process models, automation opportunities, and ROI analysis
- Write Business Requirements and Solution Design documents
- Observe business processes at the place of work to identify automation ideas
- Identify automation solutions using RPA, AI, or similar technologies
- Partner with business and application solution architects on automation solutions
- Manage the full solution lifecycle from problem definition through design, development, postproduction support, and retirement
- Evaluate, upgrade, and improve the active solution portfolio
- Identify automation opportunities with ITO, Project Management, Services, and IT owners
- Maintain product specifications, configuration guides, and operations guides
- Manage vendor relationships, effort estimations, proposal evaluations, and third-party resource delivery
- Manage development and testing, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 8 years related experience in IT Industry as Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or equivalent role
- Experience providing solutions for cross functional IT Systems, with significant experience in Business Applications and/or ERP solutions
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in at least one of the business domains ITO, Project Management or Services
- At least 3-4 years experience leading automations using tools like UiPath, n8n, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere
- Quick learner of functional processes and how they influence IT applications and solutions, with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes
- ERP experience in one or more modules
- RPA, Chat-Bot Automation, and/or BI/Data Analytics experience
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Experience evaluating tools and software
- Experience in AI/GenAI and Agents is an added advantage
- Experience working in remote/global teams
