About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop AI-driven tools to improve and augment key business functions in engineering and product management
- Collaborate with Engineering, Services, Manufacturing, and Digital Technology teams to integrate new methodologies
- Support training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization
- Assist with subcomponent selection, hardware research, and lab-based prototype demonstrations
- Collect visual data from site visits for computer vision initiatives
- Create training materials and documentation for handover to services teams
- Work with the services team on productivity initiatives for planned inspections and upgrades
- Contribute to Generative AI applications in product management, automation solutions, and services productivity initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work on-site as required by the business
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Passion for technological advancements and energy industry innovations
- Proactive mindset toward process improvement and power generation industry problem solving
- Experience with data analysis or tools related to the power generation field, such as Gas Turbines, is desired
- Interest in bridging digital technology development and on-site power plant services
- Knowledge in Mechanical and Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Science is a plus
