About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for mechanical sub-systems and provide authoritative solutions for complex fleet issues
  • Lead cross-functional projects of moderate scope and risk
  • Build consensus and drive technical alignment across internal and external teams
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and foster a high-performance culture
  • Work with Monitoring and Data teams to identify failure trends early
  • Support proactive technical strategies to mitigate risks
  • Provide direct technical supervision for fleet escalation and retrofits
  • Validate performance improvement initiatives for safe and effective outcomes
  • Develop and continuously improve field troubleshooting guides
  • Ensure field technicians have accurate and actionable information
  • Bridge design engineering, field operations, and data analytics to optimize wind turbine asset life

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree of Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Field Services or Engineering
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
