About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the development and delivery of digital solutions enhancing the performance, reliability, sustainability, and operational visibility of industrial process equipment within the Food & Beverage industry
Lead the technical development and lifecycle management of digital products
Provide technical leadership to software engineers, automation specialists, and external development partners
Collaborate with Product Management on priorities, roadmaps, and release strategies
Translate business and customer requirements into epics, features, and actionable development tasks
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable, maintainable, secure solutions aligned with company standards
Create and maintain solution architecture, technical design documentation, implementation specifications, sprint plans, release notes, and product backlogs
Provide hands-on support across software development, API integration, data engineering, troubleshooting, proof-of-concept development, and technical design reviews
Coordinate software upgrades, releases, patches, and lifecycle management activities
Manage delivery and product-quality risks and drive mitigation plans
Develop and deliver monthly performance reports covering solution status, development progress, achievements, and KPI attainment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Engineering
Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, or similar)
Agile certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar)
5+ years of experience in industrial software, MES, automation, IIoT, or digital manufacturing
Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders
Knowledge of data modelling, analytics, system integration, and APIs
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
English (C1) and fluent Spanish
Preferred experience with Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, Databricks, InfluxDB, and Angular
Preferred experience in digital product design and UX
Preferred experience with Food & Beverage manufacturing processes
Preferred knowledge of ISA-95 and IEC 62443
Additional language skills in French, German, or Portuguese are preferred
