About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the strategy, planning, budget, execution, and performance of RTA's event portfolio
  • Lead trade shows, conferences, webinars, advisory board meetings, association meetings, customer dinners and entertainment, Roadshows, RTA Connect, and other event experiences
  • Fully own RTA Connect from strategy through execution and results
  • Coordinate approximately 20-30 trade shows per year
  • Attend approximately 10-12 events with booth presence, 3-4 Roadshows, and the annual RTA Connect Conference
  • Cultivate memorable experiences for prospects, customers, partners, and others interacting with the RTA brand
  • Serve as team lead at each event, ensuring booth setup, brand representation, and team readiness
  • Gather leads and speak to RTA's company positioning and product functionality with booth visitors
  • Select and coordinate pre-event, onsite, and post-event marketing options within budget
  • Own event lead capture and ensure accurate, timely handoff and follow-up
  • Track and maintain inventory of event assets and SWAG
  • Coordinate personnel, booth, SWAG, vendor, shipping, and other event logistics
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales on RTA's Account Based Marketing strategy
  • Partner with SDR and Sales teams to meet follow-up SLAs and support event-lead follow-up
  • Assess and recommend solutions to gaps in brand or product presentation at events
  • Own the strategy and execution of RTA's webinar program
  • Set webinar topics, schedules, and strategy with the Marketing team
  • Source and prepare speakers and subject matter experts
  • Set up and manage Zoom webinar experiences and coordinate practice runs
  • Partner with Demand Generation to achieve webinar registration goals
  • Host and execute webinars, then hand leads to SDRs for timely follow-up
  • Report monthly and quarterly on event and webinar performance, including leads, pipeline, conversion rates, closed-won ARR, return on spend, and ROI
  • Elevate RTA's brand presence, generate qualified and influenced pipeline, increase thought leadership, and deliver a successful RTA Connect Conference

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional experience in event marketing, event management, or a related role
  • Demonstrated success owning trade shows and experiential events from planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up
  • Demonstrated experience owning webinars end-to-end
  • Experience planning and hosting a larger-scale customer, industry, or company event or conference
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, vendors, budgets, timelines, and events at once
  • Hands-on experience with Zoom, HubSpot, and Cvent
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort connecting event performance to pipeline, conversion, revenue, return on spend, and ROI
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including confidence engaging prospects, customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel approximately 40%, including occasional nights and weekends
  • No degree requirement; relevant experience and demonstrated capability matter most
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods at conferences, tradeshows, and other events
  • Ability to assist with event setup and teardown and lift, carry, move, and handle event materials, boxes, booth items, and SWAG as needed
  • Candidates must be located in the United States
