About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the profitable development and growth of the UK market
Drive gross margin performance through pricing, incentives and product mix management
Lead pricing reviews and commercial analysis covering vehicle pricing, campaigns, promotions and incentive structures
Analyse dealer profitability and identify risks and opportunities to improve network performance
Assess fleet, leasing and key account opportunities for commercial viability and risk
Develop business cases, financial models and investment appraisals for strategic initiatives and market expansion
Deliver forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling for business planning and performance management
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Network Development and Operations teams to evaluate commercial performance and customer acquisition initiatives
Conduct profitability reviews across products, channels, customer segments and commercial activities
Provide data-driven financial insight, constructive challenge and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Ensure governance, HQ policy compliance, commercial approval frameworks and financial controls
Support month-end reporting, revenue controlling, margin analysis and accurate accounting treatment
Lead or support process improvement initiatives and development of reporting tools, dashboards and business intelligence capabilities
Report to the Head of Commercial and Operations Finance and advise the Chief Commercial Officer UK and wider leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Commercial Finance, Senior Finance Business partnering FP&A or Controlling roles, supporting commercial and operational decision-making
Demonstratable experience partnering senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions through insightful financial analysis
Experience supporting pricing, margin management, commercial investments, incentives and profitability improvement initiatives
Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling experience within a fast-paced commercial environment
Experience developing business cases and evaluating strategic investment opportunities
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including revenue recognition, accruals and month-end processes, with the ability to bridge financial control and commercial decision-making
Advanced Excel, Financial modelling and PowerPoint skills
Experience using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools
