About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Head of People Operations to define and execute the vision and strategy for Workday operations, data management and analytics, and payroll
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-functional team
  • Drive transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience
  • Lead HR Operations responsible for processing employee lifecycle transactions within Workday, including hires, terminations, job changes, and compensation updates
  • Ensure data integrity, process standardization, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage EIB uploads and assess their use
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage automation within Workday and other HR systems
  • Act as a key stakeholder for Workday optimization, enhancements, and integrations
  • Evaluate and improve HR processes, tools, and service delivery models
  • Lead HR data, reporting, and analytics across Workday and other systems
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights for business decisions and workforce planning
  • Assess dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks aligned with organizational goals
  • Ensure data governance, integrity, and security across HR systems
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI, and self-service capabilities
  • Oversee end-to-end US payroll operations, including accurate and timely processing
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting
  • Partner with Finance and external vendors for payroll execution and audits
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Audit teams to mitigate risk and support audits and regulatory reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership in HR operations and payroll
  • Proven experience managing large, multi-functional HR teams
  • Deep expertise in Workday and HR systems, including reporting and analytics
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and process improvement initiatives
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong process reengineering and improvement experience
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
