About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and lead GEICO's merchandise program in partnership with API, the GEICO Store platform partner
  • Set strategic direction for the core merchandise collection
  • Manage the full lifecycle of special collections from intake through distribution
  • Partner with Hospitality, Supplier Management, Associate Experience, and Real Estate & Facilities Management on merchandise and site-branding programs
  • Own the GEICO Store merchandise catalog, assortment strategy, quality, and brand standards
  • Lead catalog reviews and decisions on additions, removals, and updates
  • Partner on inventory management, platform accuracy, replenishment, and stock issue resolution
  • Lead intake and lifecycle management for event, milestone, onboarding, new hire, L&D, and leadership collections
  • Build and maintain scalable trackers, playbooks, and workflows
  • Plan and execute location-specific GEICO Store pop-ups at offices and events
  • Own pop-up logistics, including inventory coordination, fulfillment, on-site setup, and post-event reconciliation
  • Partner on office and site branding, including signage, wayfinding, and physical brand elements
  • Serve as the brand point of contact for REFM site and facilities projects
  • Manage API vendor performance and relationships
  • Partner on vendor contracting, compliance, sourcing, estimates, pricing, and cost-quality decisions
  • Own program reporting and financial tracking for catalog usage, fulfillment volumes, collections, and pop-up activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7 years in branded merchandise, marketing operations, procurement, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ownership of a merchandise catalog, corporate store, or comparable program
  • Proven experience owning a merchandise or gifting program end to end, including assortment strategy, vendor management, and production
  • Direct experience managing vendor relationships through scoping, sampling, quality review, and delivery
  • Track record managing intake, timelines, and approvals across internal stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Comfort translating brand standards into physical environments, including signage, wayfinding, and office branding
  • Comfort owning budget tracking, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost-quality tradeoffs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with procurement or inventory platforms is a plus
  • Experience with a company store, branded swag platform, or e-commerce gifting tool is a plus
  • Experience planning and executing event or pop-up activations with a merchandise component is a plus
  • Experience with environmental branding, signage systems, or office/workplace design projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with brand standards and design approval workflows
