  • Develop and prepare statistical analyses of underwriting and claims experience for ratemaking and management information reports
  • Conduct rate reviews and create filings for a variety of business segments
  • Develop and present analyses, proposals, and recommendations to stakeholder groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently given general direction while thriving in a team environment
  • Preferred minimum of 1-2 years of experience with related job history
  • Proficiency with data analysis software such as R, SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Effective time management, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn, ask insightful questions, and solve complex problems
  • Previous internship experience in a related field or business is preferred
