About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
  • Develop and execute functional, regression, end-to-end, and performance test cases
  • Implement and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
  • Conduct performance testing using K6 and LoadRunner to identify bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and maintain test documentation
  • Identify, track, and report defects, providing detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Optimize and improve existing QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure quality and reliability of billing platform applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in software test engineering with expertise in automation, functional, and performance testing
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Typescript, Playwright, or TestNG
  • Experience designing and implementing custom automation frameworks from scratch
  • Expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6
  • Proficiency in API testing with Postman, Bruno with REST Assured, or GraphQL
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience creating SQL or Postgres queries
  • Experience with test management tools such as Azure or Jira
  • Experience in the financial domain, focused on billing, payments, subscription management, and financial reporting is preferred
  • Exposure to security testing methodologies is preferred
  • ISTQB or relevant certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work from the Bethesda, Richardson, or Palo Alto office locations in a hybrid arrangement
