About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives with business and technical stakeholders
  • Develop associated reporting that accurately identifies privacy risk and recommendations
  • Support the Director in management reporting and communication of program maturity and privacy risk
  • Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools
  • Provide leadership for data privacy incident response
  • Assist in developing notices, policies, and procedures
  • Support regulatory change management, including operational privacy action plans and privacy by design requirements
  • Work under the supervision of the Data Privacy Director with latitude for initiative and independent judgment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior team lead or management experience in a privacy compliance or operational role
  • Understanding of CCPA, GLBA, controller/processor applicability and law/regulation obligations
  • Ability to read and comprehend laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance
  • Ability to manage and prioritize incoming work assignments based on prioritization and potential risk
  • Strong understanding of data discovery processes, data structure, data governance, and cybersecurity principles
  • IAPP certification required
  • Bachelor's degree with focus on business administration, information system management, or related field required
  • 7 plus years experience in supporting data privacy programs
  • Experience in a regulated financial services industry role preferred
  • OneTrust experience required
