About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and manage scalable, resilient Identity Governance solutions
  • Drive adoption of RBAC, ABAC, and SOD controls across the enterprise
  • Implement Just-in-Time provisioning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead design sessions and technology reviews
  • Build backend APIs and services exposing identity capabilities to web, mobile, and partner applications
  • Share best practices and improve processes across teams
  • Develop and maintain system design, processes, and program documentation for Identity and Access Management
  • Support an innovative, diverse, and inclusive team environment
  • Apply emerging identity trends and technologies to enhance data protection strategies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship
  • Partner with security, compliance, and application teams on integrations and organizational objectives
  • Build resilient, scalable architecture while driving innovation and cost efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience with identity governance platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta, including identity lifecycle management, access certification, and entitlement management
  • Proven ability to implement and develop joiner, mover, leaver, approval, provisioning, and identity-task automation workflows
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
  • Experience integrating identity governance platforms with ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, AWS, and Azure
  • Fluency in DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
  • Fluency and specialization in at least one modern language such as Java, Go, or Python
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Perl, or Bash
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive security-risk mitigation
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 6+ years of experience developing Identity Governance and Access Management solutions for large enterprises at scale
  • 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
