About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the day-to-day operations of Gen's global product design organisation
- Facilitate sprint planning, milestone reviews, retrospectives, and design critiques
- Identify and implement workflow and process improvements, including automation, documentation, and tooling strategies
- Partner with design leads on timelines, milestone plans, and delivery checkpoints
- Own and evolve project-tracking systems such as JIRA and Figma
- Maintain team documentation, briefs, review records, and operational resources
- Structure design handoffs, stakeholder reviews, and team rituals
- Support continuous improvement through feedback loops, retrospective facilitation, and process iteration
- Collaborate with product designers, researchers, design leaders, and cross-functional partners to improve team workflows and outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent practical experience in design operations, UX, project or programme management, business, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in design operations, UX programme coordination, project management, or a related role
- Experience supporting a design, research, product, or similarly collaborative team in a complex organisation
- Experience improving workflows, planning cadences, documentation, or operational systems
- Experience with modern design and delivery tools, including Figma, JIRA, and ClaudeCode
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and seniority levels
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong planning, facilitation, and project coordination skills
- Ability to analyse workflows, identify friction, and implement practical, repeatable improvements
- Confidence learning and managing tools, systems, and documentation practices
- Ability to work in the London office at least 3 days per week
