About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and optimize full-stack applications for high-traffic payment platforms
Build secure integrations with global Payment Service Providers using modern protocols and API standards
Develop responsive frontend experiences and robust backend services
Create lightweight, documented APIs for client, SDK, and cross-team communication
Ensure quality of service and security across the stack
Lead technical design and hands-on full-stack development from database to UI
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, Architects, engineering teams, and product teams
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Own complex technical designs using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, React, Vue.js, or Angular
Contribute across development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
Drive architecture improvements and modernization
Integrate with global PSPs to ensure seamless payment flows across regions and providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Proficiency in React, Vue.js, or Angular
Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience designing and building REST, Webhooks, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
Experience with Azure, AWS, or both, including deployment, scaling, and managed services
Ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites
Object-Oriented Design and design patterns knowledge
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience working in global delivery environments across distributed teams and time zones
Understanding of API security best practices
Experience applying cryptographic algorithms and secure hashing techniques
Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools
Understanding of PCI DSS and GDPR data security standards
AI/ML concepts, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, message brokers, and observability tools are nice to have
